Are we changing/hiding Deen of Almighty???

Assalam o Alaikum,

People who emphasize on Quran and Sunah will generally say these words when elaborating the point that there is no difference in the Salat of Men and Women.

Saloo

This is what I got from a friend of mine on my Skype. He got it from one of our mutual friends.

As you can see the post mentions the Hadees is 631 from Sahi Bukhari.

Here is Hadees # 631 from Sahi Bukhari.

Now decide for yourself if Nabi Kareem PBUH gave the order for Women as well or not.

Jazak Allah o Khair

Assalam o Alaikum

      Assalam o Alaikum Sister Sonia,

I am sorry I am new to blogging so I didn’t know where to put the reply. A friend of mine has now guided me. So here it goes.

      Wa Alaikum Assalam Sister Sonia,

This post is related to the differences in the Salat of Men and Women. The Hadees that I posted on the top says that the Prophet ordered to offer the prayers (Salat) as the companions saw him offering.

Now some people believe that there are differences the way Men and Women have to offer Salat. One of my friend sent me this Hadees on Skype saying that people use only a part of Hadees that says “Offer the Prayer as you see me offering” and do not describe the rest of the Hadees. They claim that the rest of the Hadees tells that this order was only for Men and not for Women as the order was given to the people who were present there and they were Men only. So the message on Skype provided the rest of the Hadees saying it was the “complete” Hadees whereas he skipped the part where the Prophet ordered the companions to go to their families and teach them what he taught them.

I have posted the Hadees from Sahi Bukhari. Now you can see that the Prophet explicitly ordered the companions to go to their families and teach them good deeds. Here is Hadees

“We came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and stayed with him for twenty days and nights. We were all young and of about the same age. The Prophet (ﷺ) was very kind and merciful. When he realized our longing for our families, he asked about our homes and the people there and we told him. Then he asked us to go back to our families and stay with them and teach them (the religion) and to order them to do good things. He also mentioned some other things which I have (remembered or [??] ) forgotten. The Prophet (ﷺ) then added, “Pray as you have seen me praying and when it is the time for the prayer one of you should pronounce the Adhan and the oldest of you should lead the prayer.”

      In-book reference : Book 10, Hadith 28
      USC-MSA web (English) reference : Vol. 1, Book 11, Hadith 604

So the clarification was that there is no difference the way Men and Women have to offer prayer.

      Jazak Allah o Khair

      Assalam o Alaikum
